Lots of Rain

Today we were supposed to have scattered showers.  It rained hard all morning and into the afternoon.  We welcomed this hard rain today, however, because we needed to test out the leaking slide in the MH.

Last week we had the small leak in our slide out on the driver side fixed.  At least we had hoped it had been fixed.  What do they say???  Third times a charm.  Well, maybe it was a charm because it appears that the leak has been fixed.  Our couch did not have water on it and we could not see or feel any water on the trim moulding or anywhere else.  Thank goodness.

Anyway, that's all I have for you today.  It's been a slow, indoors kind of day around Tumwater.

Until next time.....so long for now!

Great news on the leaky slider. A heavy rainfall is definitely the best test for that. We had a nice weather change here - the wind disappeared totally and we had a perfect day!!

The sun has been shining here but mostly the days since I arrived have been slow, indoors kind of days! I wonder if I'll ever get rested up. I'm glad your leak seems to be fixed. Keep your fingers crossed!

That's good news about your slide not leaking. We had rain all day today, too, which made it a dreary day.

Yes, leaks can be a pain alright but they just kind of go with the territory in the RV life. All that twisting & turning movement is hard on seals & stuff for sure. We have been lucky so far.

Glad you got that leak fixed in your slide. I remember several years ago a salesman we were dealing with on another motorhome looked at me and said, "water is your enemy." I thought the way he said that was so cute that I use it often now. Sooooo Margie, glad that leak is fixed cause "water is your enemy."

Hope things are going well for you guys in the Dr. appt. department. We have finished and boy is it a relief.

Take care and
