This is Park Review #2 for today. The following post is for Arch View RV Park in Moab, Utah.
We stopped for an overnight visit at the Antelope Valley RV Park in Delta, Utah after leaving Moab. We picked this one for 2 reasons: 1) it is located right on Hwy. 50 2) it is a Coast to Coast member park in our system. We had made reservations here a few weeks ago.
When we arrived at the park, the gentleman in the office greeted us warmly and got our paperwork handled quickly. We only paid $10.00 for the site with full hook-ups and 50 amp service. This is apparently a membership only park and also accepts RPI members (Resort Parks International) and AOR affiliates. We were allowed to select the site of our choosing and off we went to the pull-thru spaces.
The pull-thru sites are level, all gravel and nothing to shout about. They are closer together than the back-in spaces, but we didn't care. The back-in sites have some trees shading them and even have some grass areas by the patios. We just wanted a place to pull in off the street, be cool with the A/C blowing, and get a good nights sleep. The interior roads were all paved and in excellent condition. There are 96 full hook-up sites.
I checked out the laundry room and the ladies restroom. Aside from the laundry room being tiny, it was adequate. The restroom was neat and clean.
The park is in the middle of farm country and there is nothing much going on around here to have kept us wanting to stay longer. The small town of Delta has 2 grocery stores, some fast food and mom-n-pop restaurants and a few gas stations. There is no pool on the RV park property but there are lakes nearby for fishing and boating. We had great WiFi reception here (free), which was good since the AT&T was being grumpy. We would certainly stay at this park again, however, I really doubt that we will be on this part of Hwy. 50 anytime soon.
Until next time.....so long for now!

Hi Margie - Thanks for the tour across Hwy 50 we are really enjoying it. We are thinking of going across Hwy 50 in NV and making a stop at the Great Basin NP on our way to Provo and Salt Lake City later this month. I'll be watching your campground reviews as I know the options or very limited. Also I would be curious to know if you found any fuel stops for the motorhome crossing NV. Safe Travels - Sandy
Thanks, Sandy for your nice comments. I'll give some info on fuel stops in the next post. We made a stop at Great Basin this morning and that is planned for my next post. We are really enjoying this route. We aren't going all the way to Sacramento but cutting off of Hwy. 50 around Reno to head up to LaPine, Oregon.
I'll be looking at your blog to see what you think of Hwy. 50!
Safe travels to you and enjoy the view.
Margie, Your campground really looks nice and clean. I am sure you rested great there.
By the way, I think it is great that you made that hike a couple of days ago. You are a class act and we hope our paths will cross down the road and we can meet you guys.
Mike
Looks like a great place to pull in for a night or two, Margie. A real bonus to get good free wifi reception as well. Thanks for the review.
