You won't find the Matterhorn at Magic Kingdom...but you will find Liberty Square. Some of the rides are slightly different at each park, too. The Magic Kingdom is my favorite park here at WDW. At EPCOT you can enjoy a wider range of dining choices...but for sheer fun and excitement....the Magic Kingdom is the place to go. So far, Bruce and I've gone to M.K. twice. Today, which is Mother's Day, we expected heavy crowds so we went early. Disney was giving "free parking" today in honor of Mother's Day. (We have annual pass and always have free parking) The free parking was a nice touch since they charge $12.00 per day to park at any lot. The parking lot at M.K. holds 12,000 cars so that was a lot of revenue to give away. Once you park your car you still have 1 1/2 miles to go until you get to the entrance of Magic Kingdom. Guests take either a free ferry boat across 7 Seas Lagoon or take the Monorail Express, which is also free.
Here at the entrance is the flower Mickey head to greet guests. Behind that you can see the railway station.
To enter Fantasyland you go past Cinderella's castle. Several times each day, Disney, entertains guests with their "Dream Along with Mickey" musical stage show. It features...of course...Mickey Mouse and all the Disney princessess join him.
